LBP is my game of the year. The game is so fresh and so fun. I just recently started the level creation tutorial and i was blown away by the sheer depth of the game. Seriously. And the "story" levels are pretty awesome as well and the UGC is quite awesome.
MGS4 gets the runner up price from me. Amazing story but didn't quite live up to my lofty expectations in the gameplay department. But it is QUITE hard to top Snake Eater gameplay wise.
Yeah i pretty much hate them as well. They throw stones at you as well if you climb a building in bare sight.
I'm not too worried about things... Besides the narrative. If the narrative is good then i'm all for it. Besides that sounds overall good.
No. No Multiplayer. Seriously what's with you guys and wanting just about every game to have multiplayer?
I personally never liked the graphical style of Uncharted. The only thing i didn't like about the game really. Love the story, characters and gameplay. Love the new snowy environment the game is looking to have. Still the graphics don't tickle my fancy but the gameplay and story is what i love. It made the game my favorite game of this gen and cracks my top 10 fav games of all time.
Ehhh i don't really like to talk about sells to be honest. But just saying earlier this year the Ps3 was consistently beating the 360 until the 360's price cut. 360 has been out a year longer. Ps3 has basically outsold the 360 (on a smaller scale) in japan since it's been out. Since the Ps3's launch they both share a strangely similar growth rate in total sales.
Overall 360 gets the nod in sales (duh) but the Ps3 has put up very admirable numbers. Though it's going to take bigge...
If i can go to superhero to supervillian that'll be marvelous. I always wanted to play a (good) game where i could play as the villain.
From my point of view they're both even. 360 has 2 more games that scored in the top 50 for this year than the Ps3 but they also included arcade/PSN titles. I don't have anything against downloadable titles but to factor them into things when not even every Psn game gets reviewed like the majority of XBLA games and the picture gets a little murky. Also i'd like to see what console had more games that average 80 or more not just the top 50 rated games for this year.

Insomniacs games don't tickle my fancy but i respect the hell out of them. Naughty Dog is one of my favorite dev's now ever since i played Uncharted. Amazing game and the best new franchise i played since the original GoW (God of War just to clarify).

I agree with yesa. No multiplayer bs. This is single player game through and through. If anything like Danja said some offline coop would be nice so my girlfriend could play as Elana.

I totally just came all over myself. The sequel to my favorite game from this gen coming SO SOON. F*ck yeah! And a winter time environment? I'm SOOOOOOOOOOO f*cking sold. I believe this is what they call a nerdgasm. PURE JOY FOLKS.
Maybe this will get more people to buy this great game. When i come home from a hard day i play some Echochrome and it puts me right at ease. Some of the levels do get hard though. Specially the ones on level 5 difficulty.
Naw they didn't die but their credibility took a hit. They're still making a new Dues Ex game and rumored to be bringing out a new Thief game as well.
I don't think the 360 or Ps3 will ever pass the Wii. That's what will come out on top this gen. Even if you say "But i don't view the Wii as a console" it is, it plays video games just like a Ps3 and 360. Not the same type of games like the two aforementioned consoles and certainly doesn't have the features of the other two but it's still a console.
As for coming in 2nd place i say it's still a pretty close race. As long as it's a close race between Sony and MS for sec...
